GTL: Home Office Chic

I love, love, love home office design. If there's one room that l'm obsessed with creeping, it's offices. I scour Pinterest, other blogger's websites (cute blogger offices is a thing, really), and pretty much any other source that I can get my hands on just so that I can admire, oogle, and basically die over some of the fabulously creative and beautiful spaces out there. Sooo I thought it would only make sense that I break down exactly how you can get one of these beauties for yourself - and to inspire me to get crafty with my own office! It's currently ok, but it's no Pinterest-worthy stunner. So let's do this - and to start, check out a small collection of my faves!

Gorgeous, right?!?

So, starting with furniture, these are some of my fave options: I chose lots of white to up the freshness factor and to allow other colours and patterns to pop (we'll get to those later).

Take my all-time favorite desk, mix and match with any cute chair, and add floating shelves for storage!

Now, as important as furniture is, we have to bring in many more elements to really give the room character and make it stand out. Next step - give those walls some love! I'm a huge fan of wallpaper (aren't we all?) and of course, of fabulous little prints to help inject your personality and vibe into your space.

I own the Work It print and am using the triangle wallpaper in an upcoming project. Need I say more?

Of course, we have to be practical as well. Which is why I've rounded up the chicest office accessories know to man. Check 'em:

Looove this wishbone paperweight! Not to mention the lucite pieces and these adorable pencils.

And for every practical piece, I've sourced a pretty and/or decorative piece. Because this office is supposed to make you happy to visit it!

Everyone needs a fig tree in their house - I love mine! I also can't live without my fave Diptyque candle, and you all already know about our love for these lipstick coffee cups!
