Holiday Glam

Tis the season for holiday parties so obviously that means it's also the season for holiday dress shopping.  A few weeks back I went to David's Bridal for their Spring 2017 Bridal Collections Preview and while I was there in addition to ooh-ing and ahh-ing over the gorgeous wedding gowns, I also took a peek at a few dresses that were perfect holiday party looks!

I remember in the spring when I was shopping with my girl Tiffiney for her wedding and bridesmaids dresses we stopped into David's to do a little shopping and that was the first time I realized that they sold cocktail and party dresses in addition to wedding gowns and dresses for the bridal party. 

I had a lot of fun going back and perusing through some of the beautiful gowns. I've always loved looking at bridal gowns with the lace and beading and glittering accents. These were a few of my favourites. 

As fun as it was nibbling on treats and perusing bridal gowns, truth be told - my true purpose of the trip was to find a party dress for the holidays. I wanted to find something unique, stylish and affordable and I was thrilled with how many great choices there were. 

After a bit of shopping and trying on dresses I chose this sleeveless high low dress. I loved the unique v-back detailing, the high-low skirt and the bold floral pattern.  It's a great dress for a fancier holiday occasion and once I added a bit of bling with a necklace, my sparkly pumps and a bit of edge with a leather jacket, I knew my go-to holiday party look of the season was complete!
