Holiday Entertaining and an Amazing Giveaway with The Brick

Today I'm really excited to share a fun collaboration with The Brick for the holidays! Chances are you may have already seen the look book in store but in case you haven't seen it, this year the Brick put together the most beautiful holiday look book full of inspiration as well as holiday decor, entertaining and hosting tips. If you haven't seen the hard copy yet, there's also an awesome interactive online version of the catalogue that you can check out! And - there's a HUGE giveaway that they've announced for the remainder of this year and all throughout 2018 too! (Scroll to the bottom for more details on that!)

For this collab I shared a few of my go to tips for holiday entertaining and a few simple ways to upgrade your table setting whether for a holiday brunch, or festive evening get together.

For the holiday brunch look I love this bright and wintery scene. With a few little touches, you can elevate your basic table setting to a winter wonderland! The Aspen Dining Set from The Brick looks incredible for the holiday brunch set up. A few quick ways to make the table pop?

Tip 1: I love the snowflake garland hung from the ceiling. This adds such a whimsical touch and is so easy to do! Either have fun with the family and cut out a few snowflakes or pick up some garland from your local craft store. Either tape to the ceiling or tie to your light fixture for a temporary festive look!

Tip 2: Bringing in elements from nature helps set the wintery scene. Branches on the table, pops of greenery added to the candle holder and tied with the cutlery and the touches of faux fur with the Mongolian Sheepskin pillow all add touches of the outdoors and add a bit of whimsy to the setting!

Tip 3: Adding a personal touch can really wow your guests. I love the ornaments tied to the cutlery with the guests name. This doesn't have to be difficult - grab an inexpensive ornament and a metallic sharpie and you've got a simple DIY that your guests are sure to love!

Next up was the evening look - time to unwind, enjoy a beverage and of course my go to food for entertaining, a great charcuterie platter! I love how the Adara Counter Height Dining Table and Ontario Backless Stools make for the perfect casual and cozy entertaining center for the holidays. If you have a counter height table it really makes for the perfect casual entertining set up - great for those who want to sit but also, a great height for those standing and mingling to join in and still feel involved in the conversation.
