Month In Review: November 2014
Can you believe it's almost December?! We have less than one month until Christmas (insert dancing emoji here) and we couldn't be more excited for the holidays. But let's get down to business, shall we? Here's the Month in review for November
We started the month with a long overdue (well, 9 days overdue) wee bundle of joy, as Sarah gave birth to beautiful baby Alice Elizabeth on November 3rd. Sarah has snapped right into the role of loving mama as Kali and Diana have become baby obsessed aunties who can't wait to teach Alice all of life's important lessons, like how to apply winged eyeliner, and to perfectly mix and match patterns. Too soon? Okay, we'll start with tummy time and ABC's and go from there....
Kali and Diana went to Duchess for their cookbook release party! It was so inspiring to hear the story of how Giselle started Duchess and her passion for baking is so evident in hearing her speak. This was already one of our favourite spots and I feel even more strongly now about supporting local little gems like Duchess! Their book is self published (holy a ton of work batman!) and can be bought here or in store if you'd like to support!
All three of us ladies headed out to Cory Christopher's Christmas Market to check out the beautiful wreaths available for auction (until tomorrow!). We sipped on champagne, DIY'd a few crafts, checked out the beautiful wreaths and hung out with a few of our blogging besties Kira and Lyndsey.
To get the ball rolling on our Chrismtas shopping, we started sharing our holiday favourites with our gift guides! Sarah shared her holiday perfect beauty picks, Diana selected some fab gifts for your holiday hosts/hostesses and she shared a very #yeg gift guide too! Lastly, November marked the 1 year "bloggiversary" for 204 Park! This year has flown by and we've had such a blast meeting new friends, discovering new companies and amazing things going on that this blog has opened our eyes to. With the arrival of little Alice we bumped back our celebration a bit but head over to our Instagram today to get a peek of what we've got in store for our one year celebration!
