Design Spotlight: Faria Interior Design
Design lovers do we ever have a treat for you today! We're featuring local award winning designer Tania Faria Landry of Faria Interior Design. Born in Portugal and raised in Toronto, this newly adopted Edmontonian breathes some fresh life into our design world with this stunning show home for d'Cor Homes. This contemporary stunner is definitely one to check out in Glenridding Heights.
A background in Commercial and Residential Design, Faria also specializes in custom cabinetry and kitchen design. As you can see from her stunning work below, no detail was spared. The slate grey perfectly frames the off white slab doors and my favourite hexagonal backsplash. Crisp white quartz countertops, minimal hardware, and taps and lighting with an industrial edge make this kitchen an absolute showstopper.
We continue the home tour in the living room where a custom cubby detail steals the show. Her use of navy as a neutral in this space is an excellent example of how to elegantly incorporate colour.
Let's continue upstairs into the master bath and adorable nursery. Bold stripes and whimsical (yet perfectly placed) polka dots bring this nursery up to the standards of even the most discerning infant. We think Alice would approve.
