Pin-spiration: Scandinavian Decor

Take a little peek on our Pinterest boards and you'll see that we love us some Scandinavian design here at 204 Park. I love muted spaces with soft greys, creams, and whites paired with black accents.  Gallery walls, lots of texture, clean lines and a dose of humor and personality make for fabulous Scandinavian inspired spaces that you can easily recreate in your own home. Just take a look at some of these sweet rooms for inspiration.

In my own home I have scandanavian elements, but probably couldn't ever keep it minimalist enough to have a whole true scandanavian space. A few of the pieces that I do have that I love are my Warhol posters that I blogged about over a year ago (thank goodness my space is looking a little more polished since that post!) and my print from Alphonnsine on Etsy, which you can see below.

Scandinavian and Mid-Century Modern styles go hand in hand and seeing as I love mid-century modern pieces (my favourite design style), this was difficult for me to keep narrowed down but below are a few of my favourite pieces that you can incorporate into your own home to achieve a Scandinavian inspired vibe.

What do you think of this design style, do you have any of these or similar pieces in your own home?
