Things are getting sparkly today on the blog and I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited about it! Sometimes my job is just too much fun so when my friends at Paris Jewellers asked me to pull together some of my favourite engagement ring styles I couldn't wait to get started! I love Paris Jewellers because they're Canadian (their first store was in St. Albert - yay Alberta!) and because they're a customer driven business that carries incredible pieces like some of the beauties you're about to see below!

Picking my favourites was actually a lot more difficult than I thought and to be honest, I had a tough time nailing down which one of these was my favourite (I think I managed to narrow it down to two though! lol) so read along to get a closer look at these stunning sparklers and let me know in the comments below, which is your favourite??

Let's start by talking a bit about the halo style rings....

There's no denying that halo engagement rings have been increasing in popularity over the past few years and it's not hard to see why! I'm not going to lie, I LOVED these rings! A classic round halo diamond ring is timeless. I think this is a classic ring style that would suit so many people with different styles and the same goes for the more squared off style halo ring. My favourite of the halo engagement rings had to be the oval. I think the oval is a bit unexpected but so classic and elegant. I definitely didn't want to take this one off! haha

If the halo style of engagement ring isn't your jam, another classic option is a solitaire. Rather than surrounding the larger diamond with a ring of smaller ones like with a halo, a solitaire ring has one diamond that takes centre stage. A solitaire style of ring is absolutely timeless in my opinion and these two that I got to try out from Paris Jewellers were STUNNING! I personally tend to prefer a more narrow and dainty band with a solitaire ring and both the simple white gold band and the white gold band with diamonds were the perfect band for the style of ring if you ask me!

Now halo and solitaire's are only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the many many engagement ring styles that are available at Paris Jewellers! I loved this ring that's technically a halo but adds a few additional accent diamonds to the band (I mean hello, extra diamonds?! YES please! haha). Or, this ring with the trio of diamonds surrounded by more diamonds (are you sensing a theme here?! haha) is also GORGEOUS! Lastly, this ring is sweet, simple and oh-so pretty!

I'm not going to lie I had WAY too much fun 'playing' with these pretty diamonds! I was blown away by how many different engagement ring styles and choices there were at Paris Jewellers and let's just say it was sad for me to have to take all of these beautiful rings back! haha

Now I know that if you're planning to get married or talking about getting engaged with your partner that there are MANY other topics to discuss and items that are more important than 'the ring' however, if and when it does come time to start the search, I'd highly suggest checking out Paris Jewellers! You can check out their locations here and let me know in the comments below, which style was your fave?

This post was made in partnership with Paris Jewellers but as always, all thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that support this blog, without them I wouldn't be able to do what I love!
