Wine Gift Bag DIY

I don't know about you guys but for me a great bottle of wine is one of my go-to holiday hostess gifts. That being said, it's nice to add a bit of a personalized touch to your gift so today I thought I'd share a fun idea for sprucing up a simple wine gift bag. Seeing as I'm at Michael's pretty much every week I end up picking up quite the assortment of crafting supplies. On one of my recent trips I picked up a simple white faux fur wine gift bag because I thought it would make for the perfect blank canvas for a bit of sprucing up!

If you have a simple wine gift bag there are so many ways to add fun little touches to make your gift stand out! Grab an assortment of ribbon and twine, ornaments and other miscellaneous branches and holiday decor and have some fun! Even better yet, why not invite a few friends over, pour a few glasses of your favourite wine and host a little holiday craft night? I picked up velvet ribbon (my favourite!), a sparkly reindeer ornament and a few festive berries to spruce up my holiday wine gift bag but the sky's the limit with how creative you can get! I also love the idea of gifting something a little extra with your wine such as coasters, a wine topper or a little journal for tasting notes. Little added details can make a simple gift feel extra special!

This year I've partnered with my Sandhill (who by now you guys already know I LOVE!) to give away a $100 Gift Card to Michael's so you can get crafty this holiday season and have your own holiday crafting girls night! To enter head on over to my Instagram page - good luck, and let me know - how would you decorate your wine gift bag?
