Month in Review: April 2014

Happy May 1st!!  For us ladies at 204 Park April was a very busy month "behind the scenes" of this little blog of ours.  We started this blog as a creative outlet to discuss all things funny, yummy, awesome and everything in between and as we enter into our 6th month we couldn't be happier with how things are going.  We want to continue to grow and create great content for you all to (hopefully) love and enjoy but we're also working hard to offer you interior design services!! So bear with us, it won't be long but hopefully in the next coming months  we'll be able to make the announcement! So while we were working hard behind the scenes here, this is what else we were up to in April....

Miss Kali, hot off her Vegas vacay set off for another vacation but this time, to a more tropical locale. Sarah and I cried a little every day as we dealt with the snow and the cold that Edmonton gave us and looked on at Kali's luxurious photo after photo of the fabulous home her boo's family rented in Turks & Caicos (ps- Prince was their neighbor!).  Snorkelling, kayaking, scootering and of course some serious R&R were just a few of the many things Kali got up to on her holiday and now back and with a serious tan, Sarah and I are still not over our jealousy!

While Kali was off sunning and margarita-ing, Sarah and Diana went to our second night of WCFW.  We had a great night meeting a ton of people including the fabulous designer Susanna Pearcey whose collection we had seen on our first night, and a fellow bloggers also.  We oohed and ahhed over Bano eeMee's stunning leather wares, a glam meets tribal Luxx RTW collection and the feathers and fab detailing of Impair's collection.

Kali and Diana also participated in the soul spin charity spin.  You may remember us girls had our butts kicked when we tried a soul spin class at Barre Body Edmonton prior to their studio opening. Well, now their studio is open and in full swing.  The fabulous Farha led the charity spin as a DJ blasted hip hop & pop beats with a little help from a disco ball and a wicked graffiti wall - definitely the coolest workout I've ever done.

Lastly, as you already know, we've got an exciting collaboration happening with the team over at Poppy Barley.  Their amazing space in the mercer building is getting a little "lipstick and rouge" love from us girls at 204 Park and we cannot wait to reveal their office update.  We're in the process of working our magic now so we don't want to share too much just yet but we will tell you that we're going for a fab industrial look and we can't wait to show you!

That's all for now! As always, we would love to hear from you- feedback, questions, post requests, whatever! You can always reach us here - sayhello@204park.com

Until next time dah-lings!
