Dranks: Vanilla, Baileys, and Coffee Cocktail
Was anyone wondering what I was up to with a bottle of Vodka on Tuesday afternoon? Thought so!
On Monday I posted about perfect date-night makeup. But what about those nights that you want to stay in and keep is simple? Ladies and gents, I give you the best curl-up-beside-the-fire drink that there ever was. I give you the Baileys Vanilla Coffee Cocktail!
It's delicious, simple, and you probably already have all of the ingredients: Bailey's, Vanilla Vodka, and coffee or espresso. Helloooo!
The only make-ahead move of this recipe is the freezing of coffee or espresso into ice cubes. In the future I would stick to espresso for more flavour - I made these bad boys with coffee but with the slow melting of the cubes, it didn't add quite enough of that coffee flavour that I love so much.
So first, prep your ingredients:
When the ice cubes are frozen, you're ready to go. And yes, my ice cube tray is diamond shaped for blingy looking ice cubes!
Fill your cocktail glass with plenty of ice cubes - the more melted coffee flavour, the better. Top it with 2 ounces of Baileys and half an ounce of Vanilla Vodka. Bottoms up!
You'll have to let me know if you try this and what you think. I loved sipping on it and I juuust might happen have a batch of esspresso-cubes frozen and ready for the next round!
