Design Crush: Boho Statement Lights
After sharing the reveal of #TheOliverEscape the comments we keep hearing the most are about the tasseled pendant light fixture in our modern meets boho bedroom. We ADORE this tasseled pendant and truthfully, I'd been trying to get this exact fixture into a client's home for awhile so I was thrilled when our Kresswell client suggested this piece for her bedroom. Talk about a statement making STUNNER of a light fixture! So, inspired still by this beautiful room and the light fixture I so adore, I thought I'd share a few of the other boho statement lights that I'm loving right now!
Boho is all about texture! More is more! We're talking tassels, beads, shells and lots of texture and personality. Boho fixtures like these add lots of personality to a room and what I love about these pieces is that they instantly warm up a room. Just take a scroll through some of my favourite spaces with some seriously gorgeous boho statement lights - which one is your favourite?
First up, has to be the Fela Tasseled Chandelier seen in these photos. This single light pendant makes a grand statement. I love the tassels, the scale of the piece and the brass accents. IMO you really can't go wrong with this piece above a dining table, in a bedroom, a living room or even funky front entrance!
My next pick is quite similar to the tasseled pendant above but a touch more refined. This fringe chandelier gives the same texture and boho vibes but is a bit more polished. We actually selected this fixture in one of the different colors for a modern meets boho Kresswell Interiors e-design plan you can see below!
My next pick is another fixture that transitions well with modern and boho. Boho is all about natural textures and materials but the clean lines of this piece mean it would work well in a more modern setting too - the best of both worlds if you ask me! Do you agree?
Next up on the list: this gorgeous Leather Fringe Pendant. I LOVE this leather meets fringe boho beauty. Just look how fab it looks above the dining space below! What do you think of this unique light?
Now boho doesn't always have to mean fringe and tassels. This glass pendant is sleek but the textured elements give it just enough of a boho touch!
This jute rope pendant is one that I am OBSESSED with! It's officially one I'm on the hunt for a location for! haha If you're looking for that boho/jungalow vibe - this is your light!!
Okay so this next fixture might be my very favourite of the whole post today however brace yourselves, it also comes with the steepest price. In my opinion this fixture is SO unique, SO stunning and such a standout that if budget allows, it would be a GORGEOUS addition! What do you think of this showstopping fixture?
For simple, beautiful and affordable boho pendants I love to turn to ETSY! There are so many shapes and sizes and materials to choose from and most of them are pretty friendly on the wallet too!
My last pick is a bit of a glam meets boho pendant from Anthropologie (a gold mine for boho inspired lighting!). This piece is the perfect mix of pretty, glam and boho. I love it! What do you think?
