Hello friends and another happy friday to you! I can't believe we're nearing the end of August (how the eff did that happen?!)
Anyways, for today's #parkpicks I've got some good stuff to share with you so let's get right to it, shall we?
Okay you guys so last week I went for my first blowout ever haha! For those of you in the US you've had drybar for years but in Canada our options are a lot more limited and to be honest, I didn't even know that you could go to a Chatters Salon for just a blowout! So, basically my world got rocked in the best way possible because I HATE blowdrying and styling my hair! It's affordable, convenient (there are lots of Chatters Salon locations all over the country) and it was such a treat to feel pampered and leave with beach-y goddess waves that I struggle to achieve on my own! haha I think that I'll be adding a blowout to my semi-regular treat-yo-self routine especially for special events, photoshoots, date nights or girls nights!
Ford Road Trip Video
Remember that trip I went on with Ford earlier this summer? Well, they put together a super fun video (with the catchiest song ever lol) with a few little highlights from everyone's travels. It's a short fun video that shows a bit of the awesomeness that was 13 Canadians driving across the country in the new Ford EcoSport. Give it a watch!
This next Park Pick is for my local Edmontonians (and the surrounding area). James and I love Mexican food and last week we hit up La Patrona - a restaurant in Sherwood Park that came highly recommended from a colleauge of James'. Let me tell you it did not disappoint! La Patrona is the sister to the food truck casa 12 doce and the food was by far the best mexican food I've ever had!! If you're in Edmonton it's 100% worth the drive and confession: James and I are hoping to go back this weekend! haha I had the Chiles Rellano and highly recommend it!!
So pretty much as soon as I saw this jumpsuit on Shop The Skinny's instagram page I knew I needed it! I bought it just over a week ago and have already worn it a TON! It's super breezy, comfy and very flattering with the tie at the waist plus the plum color is perfect for fall! I'm obsessed! Get prepared to see a lot of this jumpsuit. Also - look at Herman's face in this photo! BAH! I CAN'T EVEN!! hahah
