Everyone's Favourite Sectional Styled for Fall

A few months ago I posted my modern-meets-country client's living room space and I received SO many questions about the beautiful Gena sectional from The Brick. This clean lined contemporary linen looking sectional is an absolute stunner so it's no surprise that I had so many people messaging me on Instagram to ask me questions about it. Today I thought I'd cozy this sectional up a bit and share a fall update with a few tips for adding cozy fall textures to your own space too.

Layer, Layer, Layer

Fall to me is all about keeping cozy and what could be cozier than fall layers? Layer in different throw cushions in varying textures and colors to mix things up from your usual year round decor. Fall doesn't have to be all about oranges and reds either; for this styled for fall sectional I chose to use shades of grey and even an accent of blue. Think outside the box for your color palette but vary your shades and textures to keep things interesting. 

Nods to Nature

Woodland animals, plants and nature inspired decorative objects all bring the feeling of the outdoors in, adding to the cozy ambiance of this space refresh for fall. On its own the Gena sectional is quite contemporary so to warm it up and make it feel cozier, bringing in these accents is exactly what this modern piece needs! 

Faux Furs

Fall to me is alllll about the faux furs! Whether through the use of a faux sheepskin, a blanket or toss cushions a faux fur accent instantly screams fall! I love the contrast of these warm faux fur lumbar cushions against the crisp ivory fabric of the sectional. Instant cozy!
