Bella Casa Spa Reveal

Back in September I shared plans with The Brick and Bella Casa for a bright and airy home spa refresh and today I can FINALLY share the reveal!  If you've been following 204 Park for awhile chances are you're already familiar with Jen of Bella Casa. She's my go to for my manis, pedis, eyebrows and other aesthetics and makeup needs. SO, when Jen asked me for a bit of help with her home spa refresh, I was so excited to help out and I knew immediately that The Brick could help!

Jen's home based spa has always been a serene and tranquil space that's perfect for some pampering but as her clientele and services have grown,  she needed to expand her space from her small one room spa to take over her whole basement.  Jen wanted her space to feel bright and modern, clean and refreshing but also soothing. As soon as we began discussing design plans I knew that there were a few pieces from The Brick that would be PERFECT for this room!

Our vibe for the space was lots of white, lots of light wood and lots of green accents. Jen had her husband and brother build her a custom reception desk and to pick up on that light wood I knew that a few pieces from my favourite North Avenue Collection from the Brick would be the perfect compliment. In addition to her services, Jen also carries quite a few retail products so display and shelving was very necessary.

The North Avenue bookcase is perfect in the seating nook to hold and display Jen's retail products as well as (of course!) lots of greenery accents. A small television is great for Jen to display current promotions or new services or, if someone bring along a young one, for watching tv while waiting.

In addition to the North Avenue tall bookcase, we also ordered one of the short bookcases to display more retail items and some decorative pieces as well! The clean lines and minimalist design of the North Avenue pieces work so well in this modern space!

The next little area we needed to pay attention to was Jen's nail station. Jen moved her nail station from inside her previous spa space to outside in the main area to allow for more space for herself and her clients.  One of Jen's main concerns was finding a comfortable chair for her clients. I already knew I loved the Soft Modern Occasional Chair from when I used it in the Glenora house office so I knew that chair would be perfect for Jen's clients! It's modern but comfortable and works perfectly with our monochromatic vibe. For Jen, the Bexley Swivel chair was the best choice (I have this chair in my office too and I LOVE it!). For the desk we needed something with a big enough surface for Jen's client's to be comfortable and to fit her nail equipment and the simple lines of the Eslov desk from The Brick made it our first choice. Now, because the desk doesn't have built in storage, we decided to grab a Bexley Filing Cabinet and set it off to the side for additional storage for Jen that's out of the way of her and her clients.

Once we nailed down those core pieces it came time to accessorize. Lots of crystals and plants make up the majority of our decor pieces as we wanted to keep the space feeling bright and open and not too cluttered. I'm so happy with how Jen's spa space turned out and I love that we were able to find so many fabulous pieces from The Brick! If you're in need of any spa services and you're in Edmonton or the surrounding area check Jen out! What's your favourite part of her spa refresh?
