Fall Beauty Favourites
Let's talk fall beauty. When the weather starts to cool I like to switch up some of my go-to products. The scents get richer, the colors get a bit deeper and everything I use is a little more dramatic than the lighter choices from the summer. While I may be no beauty expert I am a woman on the go who leads a busy life and needs products that can hold up to the chaos of my day to day and when I find something good, I figure I should share it!
So today I want to share a few of the products I've been obsessing over lately because let's be real, I put my beauty products to work! haha So, here's what I'm loving for fall - let me know if you've tried any of these products or better yet, what some of your favourite fall products are!
For quite a while now I feel like I've been hearing tons about Lipsense so I was excited when my girl Jen at Bella Casa Day Spa started carrying this line. I picked the color Goddess, a rosy pink that was light enough for summer but has enough of a light berry undertone that it's a great pink for fall. What's especially great about Lipsense is that the color lasts ALL DAY. For real. To start, you exfoliate your lips so that they're smooth. Make sure they're dry then lightly apply light even coats of the color, allowing the coats to dry between applications. One application is super subtle but as you layer up the color deepens so you can choose how bold or subtle the color is. Once dried, apply the top coat gloss and your color will last all day. You can re-apply the top gloss coat but leave the color at home, you won't be needing it. At the end of the day use the oops remover (which smells amazing btw) and you're set! Jen has a ton of colors and different glosses at her spa, I think I'll be eyeing up the Blu-Red for the holiday party season!
You all know that I love Pura Botanicals and before I discovered their moon ritual sprays I've been a long fan of the Desire Mist so when my gal Justine suggested I try the Zingara Gypsy Mist - I immediately got on board! This is the perfect warm and cozy fragrance for fall. With scents of sandalwood, rosewood and vanilla, this delicious spray has been my go-to over the past few weeks as we've been embracing fall.
3. Julep Polish in the Perfect Fall Hues
Julep is one of my go-to's for nail polish and for fall I'm always attracted to soft rosy pinks, rich burgundy reds and soft neutral tones. The colors Stacie, Hana and Rossi came in my last Maven Box and they're the perfect fall palette. Julep is one of my favourite polish companies because they're 5 free and vegan friendly. Have you used their polish before? What are your go to mani colors for fall?
